The easiest way to get to Kislovodsk is by train. The station with the same name to the city is located on a dead-end line leading from Mineralnye Vody. Unfortunately, Kislovodsk does not have its own airport. However, the nearest air terminal, belonging to the city of Mineralnye Vody, is only 60 kilometers from Kislovodsk, and a regular bus runs between them, covering this distance in just an hour and a half. This airport accepts flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Norilsk, Khabarovsk, Voronezh, Samara and Sochi. In addition, the airport of Mineralnye Vody periodically operates flights to Istanbul, Dubai, Tashkent, Tel Aviv, Antalya, etc.

Another way to get to Kislovodsk will require the use of a bus service. The city has direct communication with Moscow, Stavropol, Maykop, Vladikavkaz, Krasnodar, Mozdok, Makhachkala, Sochi, Nalchik, Volgograd, Anapa and Gelendzhik. The intercity bus "Kislovodsk-Baku" also runs here. The trip from Moscow to Kislovodsk by bus will take about 19-20 hours.

You can also get to Kislovodsk by your own car. To begin with, you need to overcome the path to Mineralnye Vody, using the M29 Kavkaz highway (in some designations - P217). Then you need to turn onto the A157 highway connecting Mineralnye Vody with Karachaevsk. On average, the travel time from Mineralnye Vody to Kislovodsk by car is 1.5-2 hours.
