Krasnoe Selo is a small town in the Leningrad Region. In it you can find wonderful landscapes, in Krasnoye Selo there are Alexander Nevskaya and Trinity churches, here Peter I built the first mill for papermaking in Russia.
You can get to Krasnoe Selo by car, bus or minibus, as well as by train.
By car
If you are going to go to Krasnoe Selo by car, then first you will need to get on the Tallinn highway and drive along it to the outskirts of the city. After crossing the ring road, you will need to exit onto Krasnoselskoye highway, which will lead you to Krasnoye Selo. It should be borne in mind that Krasnoye Selo is close enough to St. Petersburg, so a trip along Krasnoselsky highway, if you do not get stuck in a traffic jam, will take only a few minutes.
By bus
You can get to Krasnoe Selo from St. Petersburg by buses and fixed-route taxis. Buses usually run from metro stations, for example, buses 145 and 145a pass through the Prospekt Veteranov and Avtovo metro stations. Buses run from 6 am to midnight, the interval of movement is 10-20 minutes, it increases after 20:00. The bus fare at the beginning of 2014 was 25 rubles.
By minibus
You can also get to Krasnoe Selo by fixed-route taxis. For example, minibus K-145 runs from the Avtovo metro station. She also travels through the village of Gorelovo, and in Krasnoye Selo along Kingiseppskoye Highway and Oktyabrskaya Street. Minibuses K-403 and K-484 go from Moskovskaya station to Krasnoe Selo. If route 403 ends in Krasnoye Selo, then route 484 continues to Lagolovo, Telesi, Kipen and Andreevka.
From the Kirovsky Zavod station, you can get to Krasnoe Selo by minibus K-546, its final point is the Taitsy railway station. Several routes pass between the metro station Prospect Veterans: K-650b, K-650v and K-445v. The fare in minibuses ranges from 25 to 40 rubles per ticket, the interval of movement is 7-10 minutes, you can take them from 5:30 to 23:30 every day. Travel time is about 35-40 minutes.
On an electric train
In addition, you can get to Krasnoe Selo from St. Petersburg by train, which departs from the Baltic station of the city almost every hour, the first one runs from 7 am, and the last one leaves the platform two minutes before midnight. The train travels to Krasnoe Selo a little over half an hour, and its final stop is the Gatchina Baltiyskaya railway station. The fare for an electric train is approximately the same as for a fixed-route taxi.
In September 2014, the city will celebrate its 300th anniversary. By this date, several reconstructions of architectural monuments were carried out, as well as the construction of new sports and entertainment facilities.
