Sudjuk braid
This is one of the most unusual places in Novorossiysk, which has arisen thanks to the waves of the sea and the accumulation of marine pumps. Spit consists of two embankments with a small lagoon-lake inside. Lake "Salt" is fed from underground fresh sources and sea water from channels that appear as a result of storms and strong winds, as well as the help of local residents. Without the ingress of sea water, the lagoon is quickly desalinated and overgrown.
The beaches on the Sudzhuk Spit are the only place in the city where you can swim safely for your health. There are two equipped bathing areas and wild beaches. In addition, there is a Dolphinarium and a windsurfing school on the spit. The beaches are mostly scarlet, and the sea is unusually clear.
The old and the new part of the embankment
There is a long embankment in Novorossiysk that starts from the Seaport and ends next to the Malaya Zemlya memorial. On the old part of the embankment there are beautiful sculptures, tall trees, wide space and old beautiful houses.

Memorial complex "Malaya Zemlya" is located at the beginning of the Sudzhuk Spit. It includes a gallery of military glory and an open-air memorial exposition, where weapons and military equipment from the times of the Great Patriotic War are exhibited. On the territory of the memorial, you can also see the remains of the Turkish fortress Sudjuk-Kale, which was destroyed in 1812.
