Canada is one of the countries where a visa is required when crossing the border. You can collect and submit all the necessary papers yourself, or by contacting special firms.
Necessary
- -An international passport with two blank pages and a validity period of at least six months from the end of the trip.
- -Filled in English or French application (temporary resident form) in duplicate for a visa.
- -Family Information Form completed in English or French.
- -Photos measuring 35X45 mm (2 pieces).
- -Certificate from the place of work, drawn up on the letterhead of the organization, which indicates the full name, position of the employee, salary, work experience.
- -If you have previously traveled abroad, you will need to attach photocopies of the pages of your old foreign passport with all the entry and exit marks.
- -Documents (bank statements or other papers) confirming your solvency.
- -Documents with marks on hotel reservations and papers describing the route of the trip.
- -Reference from the place of work of the spouse.
- -Certified copy of the work book (all pages).
Instructions
Step 1
Refer to the information on the website of the Canadian Embassy in Russia (Moscow). Carefully read the materials related to the application of visas of the category you need. Review the requirements for completing questionnaires and other documents required to apply for a Canadian visa.
Step 2
Collect all required and additional documents, make photocopies. Take photos for the questionnaire (be sure to follow the requirements: size, face position and other specified parameters). Forms and other documents submitted for registration must be completed in English or language, and papers in other languages must be accompanied by a translation.
Step 3
You can apply for a visa and related paperwork at the Visa and Immigration Department of the Embassy of Canada in person, by mail, through courier services or through an applicant's representative. In the courier service Pony Express, in addition to submitting documents, you can pay the consular fee. You have done all the important steps, now you just have to wait for an answer. Usually the waiting period is 2 to 4 weeks.
