Step 2
Pay attention to the conditions that you must meet in order to obtain an Austrian passport: for ten years you must avoid any problems with the law, the level of knowledge of the German language must be of a sufficiently high level, you must not have any relations with unfriendly states and must be willing to renounce your citizenship. In addition, the level of your well-being, social status, attitude towards Austria, its cultures, traditions and customs will be checked. However, if you are a large investor, not only will you not be affected by the problem of obtaining a passport, you will not even have to wait ten years to obtain one.
Step 3
Use the work visa program to enter the country. Be careful: each of them has its own characteristics and limitations. These options include seasonal work, business trips, public interest cooperation, and obtaining a visa due to work in a strictly defined company. This is a rather risky option, since in case of dismissal you will have to leave Austria.
Step 4
Contact the Austrian Embassy in Moscow to obtain a residence permit. It will be possible to extend it on the territory of the country itself. This usually does not pose any difficulty. Please note that if you are a key manager, you will be able to more easily obtain a residence permit using a special program that provides this document to persons appointed to the relevant position in an Austrian company, provided that the salary is at least 2,500 EUR.
