Finland is also rich in various attractions, for example, you can visit the Arktikum Museum, which is located in Rovaniemi, combining a science center and a museum. He specializes in the study of the Arctic. It explores the way of life, habitat, culture of the northern peoples. During a visit to "Arktikum" there is an opportunity to see even the famous Northern Lights. Also, the museum is a great place for meetings and conferences, there is a restaurant, a library and a souvenir shop with handicrafts.
Step 3
Ranua Zoo is an interesting place to visit. The zoo is located in the open air and features 60 species of northern animals: polar bears, lynxes, arctic foxes, reindeer, martens and many others. The zoo is one of the few where polar bears breed in captivity.
There is a Santa Claus souvenir shop, a restaurant, a pastry shop and a liquor store nearby. In winter, you can ride a snowmobile or a reindeer sleigh.

Do not forget to visit the skating rink on Vokzalnaya Square, it is open from December to March, skates can be rented. You can take a break from all these entertainments at Christmas concerts, some of which are held in open pavilions right on the squares, and you can buy Christmas gifts and souvenirs at Senate Square and at the Tuomaa fair.

An integral part of Christmas in Finland is a visit to a bathhouse and fortune telling on a molten horseshoe (the horseshoe is melted and thrown into cooled water, according to what the frozen mass will look like, and determine what awaits you).
