Step 1
Find out what visas and under what conditions the country you are going to visit provides. Not all countries provide special business visas. If it is not there, then you will either need to issue a regular multi-visa of the "visitor" type, which, for example, people who often visit foreign relatives have, or a work visa, if you not only go on business trips, but also perform some kind of work activity and receive for it payment in the country from which you are requesting an entry permit. Information about visas can be obtained either by phone or on the website of the embassy of the selected country. Please note that the staff of the embassies of some countries do not give advice during a personal visit without an appointment.
Step 2
Prepare the necessary documents for a business visa. This list may vary depending on the country. You may be required to provide a statement of income and other documents confirming your ability to pay, a hotel reservation or rental contract for the duration of your stay in the country, as well as an invitation letter from the organization you are going to visit during your business trip. If you have a business abroad, you may also be required to provide documents confirming this fact. In any case, you will have to provide the embassy with your passport and your photographs.
Step 3
Fill out the visa application form. It can usually be downloaded from the website of the embassy of the country where you are going, as well as received during a personal visit. If you are traveling to a country whose language you do not know, fill out the English version of the visa application form.
Step 4
Come to the embassy of the selected country for a visa. If necessary, make an appointment in advance. Keep in mind that it can take a long time to get a business visa, even several weeks, so get it done in advance.
