Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo are the two largest airports of the Moscow air hub. If the flight is carried out with a transfer in Moscow, you may need to travel from one airport to another. It is not difficult to do this, but it should be borne in mind that this will take additional time.

Instructions

Step 1

The only way to get from Sheremetyevo to Domodedovo directly is by taxi. If you are not familiar with the structure of public transport in Moscow, are afraid of getting lost, or simply prefer to get there with maximum comfort, then you can use this service. An official taxi service operates in Sheremetyevo, which has fixed prices and guarantees the client that he will get to the place. This is not the fastest option if there are traffic jams on the road.

Step 2

The fastest way to get from one airport to another is by using the Aeroexpress trains. If you are arriving at Terminal B, E or F, then following the signs you can go directly to the platform from which the train departs. If your arrival terminal is A or C, then take the bus or a special free shuttle from the terminal to the Aeroexpress. The train takes 35 minutes and arrives at the Belorusskaya metro station.

Step 3

From "Belorusskaya" you need to get to the "Paveletskaya" metro station along the ring line of the metro, and there you have to change to the Aeroexpress train to Domodedovo. It takes about 40-45 minutes. The interval of the Aeroexpress trains is 30 minutes. Thus, you will spend a little more than 2 hours, although it is better to calculate the time with a margin. The entire route will cost about 700 rubles (the cost of two aeroexpress trains and a trip to the metro)

Step 4

Cheaper and slower options involve the use of buses. Route taxis and buses run from Sheremetyevo to the Planernaya and Rechnoy Vokzal metro stations, with which you can get to the metro. Municipal buses 851 and 851E and minibus 949 will take you to the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station, bus 817 or minibus 948 - to the Planernaya metro station. Minibuses to the Rechnoy Vokzal station are preferable, since the Domodedovskaya station is on the same line, and you do not have to change trains.

Step 5

Now you need to take the metro and get to the Domodedovskaya station, from where the minibuses go to the airport. The total time spent on the move, if you use this method, is difficult to calculate, since it depends heavily on traffic congestion. The cost of the route will be approximately 180 rubles.

Step 6

There are practically no traffic jams on the road to Domodedovo (except for emergency situations). But from Sheremetyevo, buses go along the Leningradskoye Highway, which is famous for its busyness, especially during rush hours. A more or less acceptable option in terms of cost and time is to get by Aeroexpress from Sheremetyevo to the Belorusskaya metro station, then go to the Domodedovskaya station, and from there take a minibus to the airport. The cost of such a trip will be about 450 rubles.
