The bus from Moscow goes to the sea a little more than a day. Accordingly, the path from more distant cities will be an order of magnitude longer.

The train also belongs to the category of public transport. During the holiday season, buying a train ticket is quite problematic. Therefore, you need to worry about buying in advance - 45 days before the expected departure date. Trains also go to the sea for a little over a day. Their advantage is that it is much more comfortable to travel in a train carriage than in a bus seat. Many trains go through several seaside cities at once, so it will be quite easy to get to any residential complex by the sea. Even if you have bought a ticket to a distant destination, you can always get off earlier the moment the train reaches the coast.

You can get to the sea and by plane. This is the fastest option. Travel time is 2-4 hours. The only disadvantage of this method is that not every city on the sea coast has airports. They are located in the largest territorial centers. Therefore, if you want to get to some smaller town or settlement located on the seashore, you will have to use additional transport. For example, by bus from the airport to your desired destination, or by train.

If you are extreme and are not limited in time, you can take the train that goes to the farthest point of the Moscow region. There, change to another, which will take you closer to the sea. Changing in different areas from one electric train to another, you can get to the city you need on the sea coast. Only this method is very long in time and is not suitable for everyone, but only for those who love hitchhiking and other similar extreme entertainment.
