The sights of Crimea are so numerous that it is not possible to describe even half of them. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning five places that it would be a huge mistake not to visit.

1. Livadia Palace
The palace residence, 3 kilometers from Yalta, has existed since 1861, but it became the pride of the country only in 1911, when, by order of Nicholas II, a new White Palace was built, which we see on this place and now and in which the famous Yalta conference of 1945 was held of the year. Inside the palace there is a huge collection of portraits and photographs of the royal family, as well as their personal belongings, so that history can be touched in the literal sense.

2. Sevastopol Bay
Sevastopol is the only city in the world that took part in two battles at once from the list of "100 major battles in the history of mankind." The local bay, which has several branches, is not only a monument of courage to Russian soldiers who defended the city both in 1855 and in 1941, but also a parking lot for the local Black Sea Fleet. Today Sevastopol is the main naval outpost of the country.

3. Massandra
Since the time when Prince Golitsyn founded a local winery in 1897, experts say the best wines in Eastern Europe have been produced here. Here, straight from the factory, you can buy wines that you will never find on local shelves. After you drink a bottle of Red Massandra, chances are you will stop buying wine in the store forever. Every day at a certain time, the winery organizes a tasting for tourists during which you will taste the best local samples. The cost of tasting is 500 rubles per person.

4. Vorontsov Palace
The superbly built architectural complex combines two dissimilar styles: English austerity and Indian charm of the East. An amazing combination of incongruous led to the perfect uniqueness of this creation of Count Vorontsov. The palace is also famous for its year-round greenhouse, in which unique exotic plants grow, as well as an amazing statue of a girl, made so skillfully that she entered the twenty most beautiful statues in the world.

5. Mount Ai-Petri
After you have traveled around Crimea, you should look at everything from above. The best place for this is Mount Ai-Petri - the highest point in Crimea. A magnificent view of the entire South Coast opens from the top - this is how the locals call the South Coast of Crimea. For lovers of horseback riding at the top, horseback rides up to 10 kilometers long are organized. A huge number of cafes located at the very cliff will give you the opportunity to eat against the backdrop of a magnificent panorama of the Black Sea.
