Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport is the largest transport hub in Siberia. At the same time, as in many other cities, the airport is located a few kilometers from the city, so you need to get there by something.
Tolmachevo is a large airport, from which many airlines operate domestic and international flights to Novosibirsk and from Novosibirsk. Geographically, it is located in the city of Ob, which is 17 kilometers from Novosibirsk. There are several main ways to get to the airport.
Bus
One of the most convenient options for getting to the airport is by bus or shuttle. At the same time, they depart from the busiest points of the city, which are also convenient for transit passengers, since many come to Novosibirsk from neighboring cities to make a flight. Thus, minibus taxi No. 312 departs from the Novosibirsk-Glavny railway station, and bus No. 111, which is an express route, departs from the bus station. At the same time, the bus also makes a stop at the railway station, so railway passengers can also use it.
The interval of movement of a fixed-route taxi at different times of the day is from 5 to 20 minutes; the bus will have to wait a little longer - they run every 30 minutes. It should be borne in mind that you will not be able to use this type of transport at night: buses start running at about 4 am and end at 22.30. Route taxis start running at 5.40 and finish work at 21.15.
A train
For railway passengers, an alternative option to get to the airport will be the electric train, which departs directly from the Novosibirsk-Glavny station. However, it should be borne in mind that the end point of such a journey will be the Aeroflot stop platform, which is located about two kilometers from the airport. The first train from the city in the direction of Tolmachevo departs at 6.12, the last - at 21.26.
Personal transport and taxis
However, the most convenient way to get to the airport is by car - your own transport or taxi. A trip to the airport from the city center in a standard traffic situation takes about an hour, however, it must be borne in mind that when driving during rush hours, the duration of this trip may increase.
In Tolmachevo, as in many other major airports, there is an access system for road transport: there are barriers at the entrance to the airport, which fix the time of arrival at the territory. The first 15 minutes of your stay on it are free: this time is usually quite enough for loading or unloading baggage and passengers.
