Take time to visit the homeland of Tamerlane - the city of Shakhrisabz. The historic center of this city is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Places of interest for tourists: the ruins of Timur's palace, the Dorut Tilavat memorial complex, the remains of the Timurid dynastic burial vault.
