On holidays, in an earthenware oven, patyr cakes are baked from puff pastry on lamb fat, and on weekdays, obi-non cakes are kneaded in water. Tea drinking with sweets and fruits is a daily and obligatory tradition. Tea is poured from small teapots and served in bowls.

The Uzbek people are distinguished by great hospitality, and all festive events are celebrated very cheerfully and crowded. Weddings, anniversaries, national holidays are accompanied by plentiful meals, they are not complete without unusual Uzbek music and dances.
