If you go to explore unfamiliar terrain, your backpack should have a marked route on the map, a compass, a mobile phone and, if possible, a GPS navigator. It also makes sense to enlist the support of local residents and hire a guide.
Step 2
They usually go on a hike not alone, but in groups. Find reliable people who do not cause negative emotions in you - after all, you will spend more than one day in their company. Appoint a leader - a person whose decisions in extreme situations you will unquestioningly follow. You also need an "accountant" - the one who calculates the necessary expenses for the purchase of groceries, tickets, missing equipment, will be responsible for the group money.
Step 3
The equipment is divided into individual and group. Usually, who takes the tent, pegs, campfire and kitchen equipment is agreed in advance. These things are divided equally among all participants in the hike. Products are usually also purchased for the entire group and distributed among its members.
Step 4
Be sure to take a first aid kit on a hike. It should contain: hydrogen peroxide, iodine and brilliant green, cotton wool, bandages and a plaster, pain relievers and drugs for intestinal disorders. If any of the participants in the hike suffers from allergies or chronic illnesses, he must certainly take personal medicines with him.
Step 5
From personal items, put a sleeping bag, change of clothes, personal hygiene products (cosmetics should be left at home), repellent, dishes in the backpack. If you wish, you can take mushroom knives, fishing rods.
Step 6
Choose comfortable clothes and shoes for your hikes in the forest. It is best if things are light, but with long sleeves. The choice of shoes depends on the area where you intend to go. For swampy lowlands, boots are best. For hiking in mountains and dry forests - waterproof sneakers. It is important that the shoes do not chafe or sting you.
