The fact is that medieval traditions are still honored in Hamburg, and therefore you need to start an excursion to the fish market (usually the locals say the fish market) in the morning. Traders according to old traditions can trade only before the church service, but you should definitely visit the market. Prices and abundance of goods will surprise even the most sophisticated gourmets.
Step 3
Inapplicable worth a look at the Hamburg Opera House. Its modern building has no historical value, but the theater itself preserves more than three hundred years of history. Throughout its existence, the theater has constantly come under attack. So, due to the crisis in Germany, it did not function for a long time, and during the Second World War, the theater building was destroyed due to the bombing that hit the city. After the war, the building was not restored, and the theater had to move. However, at the end of the twentieth century, the German authorities decided to return the well-deserved house to the Hamburg theater.
