Neftekamsk is a fairly young city that has had this status since 1967. It is one of the few Russian settlements that surpasses in its economic and industrial potential the largest city in its region - Khanty-Mansiysk.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to Neftekamsk is by plane. However, large airlines do not have direct or even connecting flights "Moscow - Neftekamsk". There is only one connecting flight with Ural Airlines. First, a plane flies from Moscow to Surgut, and there you have to change to another plane, which goes directly to Neftekamsk. It should be noted that these flights are irregular: in the summer the planes fly about once a week, and in the winter - once every two weeks. The flight lasts about four hours. And if you take into account the transfer, the total time will be at least four and a half hours.
Another option is also possible by air - to fly with S7 or UTair airlines to Surgut. And then from the stop "Airport Surgut" get by bus # 6 or by taxi to the stop "Central bus station". The flight itself will take about four hours, and about an hour and a half will be needed to travel from Surgut to Neftekamsk by bus.
Step 2
There is no bus service between Moscow and Neftekamsk. This is explained not only by the poor quality of the road surface, but also by the distance itself - about 2,900 kilometers. So the only way to get to Neftekamsk on wheels is to try to do it by car. From Moscow, take the M7 Volga highway to Vladimir, then drive through Nizhny Novgorod and head for Cheboksary. Bypassing Cheboksary, you need to drive 10 kilometers along the Moskovskoye Highway and again go to the M7 Volga highway. After that, you need to get to Kazan, from there to Naberezhnye Chelny. And after 250 kilometers along the M7 "Volga" highway from Naberezhnye Chelny there will be Neftekamsk. Travel time will take at least four days. So, you need to plan at least three nights in motels.
Step 3
Perhaps the safest way to Neftekamsk is a long-distance train ride. Once a day, a train departs from the Yaroslavsky railway station, going from the Russian capital to Neftekamsk. It goes along the following route "Moscow - Pyt - Yakh - Neftekamsk". Travel time will take about two days, to be exact - 44 hours 53 minutes.
