You can apply for a UK tourist visa online. Before starting the procedure for filling out the questionnaire, prepare your foreign passport, travel documents and confirmation of hotel booking.
Instructions
Step 1
Visit the UK Border Agency official website. In the upper right corner, find the button "Apply for visa online", follow the link. In the page that opens, put a check mark in the "I agree" box, click the "Continue" button.
Step 2
Enter your email address and come up with a password with which you can find out at what stage your application is being considered. Click the Next button.
Step 3
In the next window, use the pop-up tabs and indicate your country, purpose of visit, type of visa. Further, use only Latin letters in names, surnames, names of the area, etc. Let's answer the questions in English.
Step 4
Fill out the "About you" section, it includes information about your first and last name, gender, marital status, date and place of birth, citizenship and marital status. Write all words as they are written in your passport. Click the Next button.
Step 5
Indicate the dates of your arrival and departure from the country, the length of your stay and the main purpose.
Step 6
In the "Passport Information" section, write off the data of your foreign passport: number, by whom and when issued, expiration date. If this is not your first international passport, please provide information on all passports that have been issued to you within the last 10 years.
Step 7
In the "Contact Information" section, indicate the address of your residence, contact phone numbers (mobile and home).
Step 8
The next section is dedicated to your relatives. You must include your spouse's full name, even if you are not cohabiting, divorced, or a widower (widow). It is also necessary to write the address of residence of the spouse, information about the children, including the numbers of their documents, regardless of whether you take them on a trip or not. In the last part of this section, provide information about the mother and father - their dates and places of birth, citizenship. Click the Next button.
Step 9
Complete the section regarding your previous trips abroad. For most of the questions, it is enough to tick the “Yes” box; if the answer is negative, it is necessary to describe the situation in detail in special fields.
Step 10
Please complete the last section of the application as it relates to your stay in the UK and your travel expenses. Therefore, prepare a hotel reservation sheet and travel documents in advance. If you are traveling with someone, please provide information about that person. In the same section, you must indicate the place of your work.
Step 11
To obtain a British tourist visa for a child, you must also fill out an application form. The visa will be glued into the parent's passport or into his own, if one has been issued. In the event that a child travels with a group that does not include any of his parents, he needs to obtain a separate foreign passport.
