Trips to Germany are not uncommon among the Russian population. As a rule, there are no problems with visiting this European country. It is much more difficult to leave for Germany for permanent or temporary (long-term) residence.
It is necessary
- - general civil passport,
- - foreign (if available, then a previously issued foreign passport),
- - 3 photos for documents,
- - a certificate confirming your employment,
- - an extract from a bank account stating that you have sufficient funds to stay in the territory of the European Union,
- - air tickets,
- - insurance policy,
- - questionnaire.
Instructions
Step 1
Germany is a member of the European Union, and therefore, to visit it, you must apply for a Schengen visa. This document is issued by the German Consulate. To apply for a Schengen visa, you need to provide: a general civil passport, a foreign passport (if available, then a previously issued foreign passport), 3 photos for documents, a certificate confirming your employment, as well as a bank statement that you have sufficient funds for being on the territory of the European Union. To date, the amount of funds that must be deposited in the current account is calculated on the basis of 60 euros for each day of stay. You will have to provide air tickets, an insurance policy, a questionnaire. Armed with a passport, visa and suitcase, you can go to Germany.
Step 2
You can move to Germany for permanent residence on two grounds: change of citizenship and resettlement. An ethnic German who, after 1992, lived in the Baltic countries and the former USSR, is recognized as a migrant.
Step 3
Receive Antrag. This is a document that is issued to a citizen personally on the basis of his birth certificate at the German Embassy. The antrag must be filled out and provided with the documents that are indicated in the memo attached to it. Practice has shown that citizens make a significant number of mistakes when filling out and preparing a package of documents, and therefore it makes sense to contact companies that provide registration services.
Step 4
After checking your documents, you will most likely be invited for a sprah test (language proficiency test). If you passed the test and received a positive decision to enter the territory of Germany, you need to issue a Schengen visa and a foreign passport marked “for leaving for permanent residence”.
