Every normal parent dreams that his beloved baby grows obedient and healthy. Observance of the daily routine can ensure this. Therefore, it is very important to accustom the child to a certain regimen from the very birth.
The daily routine of a baby up to 1 year old
The daily routine of the child directly depends on his age. In a nursing baby, during the first year of life, the daily routine changes several times. For the first 2 months after birth, the child either sleeps or eats almost all the time. By 3 months, the baby sleeps less and is more awake. During this period, the baby, as a rule, sleeps at least 2 times - before lunch and after lunch (from about 15 to 17 hours). Doctors say that children under one year old need to sleep at least 12 hours a day. After 6 months, you can gradually teach your child to sleep at a certain time.
It is necessary to feed a child up to 6 months when he himself wants it. At this age, it is better not to try to accustom the baby to some kind of diet. From 6 months, the baby should eat breast milk when he wants to, but he should eat regular food at the same time when the whole family sits down at the table. This will help teach your child to order from a young age.
Daily routine for a period of 1 to 3 years
At this age, it is already possible to introduce a more specific daily routine. At the age of 1 - 1, 5 years, the child can sleep 2 times during the day. The first sleep (before lunch) lasts about 2-2.5 hours, the second sleep is usually less than 2 hours. Every day, you need to put your child to daytime and nighttime sleep at about the same time. This will allow him to develop a habit and establish a daily routine. Upon reaching 2 years of age, the child can sleep only once during the day (about 2 hours).
You need to feed a child under the age of 3 4 times a day. The break between meals should not exceed 4 hours. The daily routine of the child must be structured so that after a meal, a period of active wakefulness begins. At this time, the child can do his favorite things. Doctors recommend spending time with your child in the fresh air every day. It is advisable to take a walk after lunch and before dinner. In summer, it is desirable that the walk takes at least 2 hours a day, in winter it can be shortened to 1 hour.
The daily routine of a baby from 3 to 7 years old
During this period, you can begin to prepare your child for school. That is, the daily routine should be appropriate. A child of this age should wake up at 7-7.30 am. In order for him to wake up quickly, it is better to spend a little morning exercises with him.
Breakfast for a child from 3 to 6 years old should take place at 8 am. After that, the baby can go about his business. But at this age, the child must have half an hour for classes and preparation for school. The best daytime sleep option is between 13 and 16 hours. Night sleep in children under 7 years old should begin no later than 9 pm.
