Vyazma is a small settlement in the Smolensk region. It was here at the beginning of the 20th century that Mikhail Bulgakov worked as a doctor, and during the Great Patriotic War there were two fascist camps for civilians and prisoners of war.

Vyazma is located at the junction of several railway lines, so this city can be reached with the help of a large number of trains. You can also get to Vyazma using a passenger bus service. Several transit routes pass through this settlement at once, which any passenger can use. We are talking about routes connecting Smolensk with Tver, Vlasovo, Gagarin, Kaluga, as well as the route "Moscow-Kholm-Zhirkovsky". The latter is especially popular with passengers, since it is with its help that you can get to the capital, the travel time is approximately 5, 5 hours.

Car owners will be able to get to Vyazma using the federal highway "M1", which originates in Moscow, passes through Smolensk, and then ends at the border between Russia and Belarus. On average, it can take a driver 4-4.5 hours to get from Moscow to Vyazma. This highway runs a little to the north of Vyazma, so to get into the city, you will need to use one of the forks.

In Vyazma, air traffic is completely absent. The only airfield that exists in this settlement is not designed to receive large airliners. Intra-regional flights from Vyazma to other settlements of the Smolensk region are not carried out and are not planned in the near future.
