Kazantip is an annual electronic music festival that takes place on the Black Sea coast in Ukraine. To get to the event, in addition to buying a ticket, you need to apply for a special visa, as well as go through a number of other official procedures.
Instructions
Step 1
Kazantip is usually held from July 31 (or August 1) to August 14 (15). Please visit the official website of the event for exact information on when it will take place this year.
Step 2
Apply for a special visa for a festival participant by going to the appropriate section on the website. Its validity ranges from one day (about 50 euros) to one month (about 170 euros). Fill out the suggested registration form on the website.
Step 3
From time to time, the organizers of the event hold promotions, in case of victory in which the participant gets the opportunity to go to the festival for free. Also, happy owners of the official state symbol - a yellow suitcase - have a free opportunity to cross the border. Owners of this attribute are registered in a special section of the site within a specified time frame.
Step 4
Prepare the necessary documents and things. You will need a passport or driver's license. Do not take too many things with you and do not put too much, for example, medicines or alcohol, so as not to complicate the process of passing through customs at the border crossing with Ukraine.
Step 5
Get to the location of the event. First you need to cross the border in any convenient way, stopping in Simferopol or Evpatoria. From Evpatoria, take a bus to the destination Mirny or take a taxi directly to the village of Popovka, in the vicinity of which the festival is taking place.
Step 6
Check out the rules of conduct for festival participants on the official Kazantip website. They provide for various aspects - appearance, accommodation, visiting places for eating, compliance with various requirements and regulations. If you violate them, you may face fines and other sanctions.
