Step 1
One of the best resorts in the Carpathians - Yaremche, is a low-mountainous place with an amazing climate. Yaremche is located on the Prut River, while it is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, Hoverla, is relatively close. Yaremche is known for its health-improving and medicinal qualities, which is why here you can meet representatives of various nationalities who have come to improve their health all year round. This resort is good because it does not require huge costs. Here you can rent a cottage or house for little money, but you can stay in a hotel or boarding house. If summer holidays in Yaremche are about relaxing walks, picking mushrooms and berries, then in winter beginners in alpine skiing purposefully come here, since the ski slopes of the resort are ideal for beginners.
Step 2
Experienced skiers choose Dragobrat, the highest mountain resort in Ukraine. Around it are coniferous forests, while it belongs to the Alpine zone. There are several challenging professional tracks, as well as jumps for freestyle lovers. Dragobrat has a lot of good hotels and cottages, all rooms are equipped with bathrooms. The cost of living starts from 200-300 hryvnia per night. If you want to take a break from skiing, there is a disco, billiards, club and much more. It should be noted that Dragobrat is one of the most beautiful places in the Carpathians, according to many travelers.
Step 3
If you want to go to the Carpathians in the summer, in addition to Yaremche, you can look into the village of Shayan. This is a small cozy place, which has several good hotels, especially suitable for families, however, you can rent a small house if you prefer autonomy. In Shayan itself there are sources of healing mineral water. And not far from the resort there is a large clean lake where you can swim or ride on catamarans.
