Kazakhstan is an amazing country with so many tourist destinations that it is simply impossible to list them all at once. What do you need to go to Kazakhstan? What documents are required when entering the country? Do I need to apply for a visa? We answer in order.
Instructions
Step 1
If you decide to go to Kazakhstan, then first of all you need to figure out what kind of transport this can be done. If you choose air transport, then the main carriers operating flights to Kazakhstan are Transaero and Air Astana. The flight (from Moscow) will take only 3, 5-4, 5 hours (depending on the destination). If you want to save on moving, then choose a train - tickets from Moscow in a reserved seat carriage will cost you a little over 3000 rubles, and the journey will take about 30 hours. Of course, you can go by personal transport, but at the same time remember that any tinting of car windows is prohibited in the country, and you will pay a large fine for violation.
Step 2
Do not worry about a visa to enter the country in advance, as citizens of the CIS do not need an entry visa to Kazakhstan. All you need is your passport. Staying in the country can be visa-free, except for citizens of Moldova and Ukraine, for whom a visa-free stay is 90 days. Citizens of other states are required to apply for an entry visa to the country. For all information on the method of obtaining visas and their types, see the websites of the embassies of Kazakhstan in the respective countries.
Step 3
As for the choice of the hotel, it all depends on how much you expect, and what level of service suits you. The most famous hotels in Astana are Grand Park Esil Hotel ****, Okan InterContinental Astana *****, Empire G ****; in Almaty - Regent Almaty *****, Hyatt Regency Almaty *****, Ambassador ****.
