You can get a visa to South Korea on your own or through a tourism organization accredited at the Consulate General. A tourist visa allows you to stay in the country for up to 15 days.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, which has the authority to issue visas and provide consular services in your area. At the Consulate, you will be given a visa confirmation. It is valid for three months from the date of issue, during this period you need to collect the necessary documents and submit them to the Consulate.
Step 2
The Consulate General in Vladivostok accepts documents for visa applications from residents of Magadan, Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Amur regions, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories, Jewish Autonomous Region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
Step 3
Russian citizens living in the Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk regions, Transbaikal, Altai and Krasnoyarsk regions, the Republics of Tuva, Altai, Buryatia, Khakassia, Sakha (Yakutia) apply for a visa to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Irkutsk.
Step 4
Residents of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia should contact the Consulate General in St. Petersburg. Russian citizens residing in other regions must apply at the Moscow Consulate General of the Republic of Korea.
Step 5
Complete your visa application. The PDF application form can be downloaded from the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Please write in block letters in English. In the uppermost line, enter the confirmation number that was assigned to you at the Consulate. Unlike Schengen visa applications, there are only 35 questions.
Step 6
Take a photo of 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm on a light background, you need it in one copy. You can use an old photo, the main thing is that it was taken no earlier than six months ago. Paste the photo into the special window on the profile.
Step 7
Make sure that your passport will be valid for at least another three months from the end of the proposed trip. Make copies of all pages of your old passport with visas to European countries, USA, Australia, Canada and Japan.
Step 8
Pay the visa fee. For a tourist single entry visa, it is $ 30. This can be done at the Consulate. Money is accepted only in foreign currency.
Step 9
Submit your documents to the Consulate General. In addition to a questionnaire, a passport and a receipt for payment of the visa fee, a confirmation of hotel reservation, air tickets, a certificate from the place of work indicating the position and salary may be required upon additional request. The production time for a short-term visa is up to 7 working days.
