Step 1
The route to Russkaya Polyana begins near the village of Dombay. This is one of the main attractions of Dombai for unprepared tourists. It is specially designed for beginners. It will take approximately two hours in one direction. You can go there yourself. Even children can easily climb several small climbs. We recommend taking a small supply of drinking water and a couple of sandwiches with you. On the way to the Russian glade, you will meet small mountain streams with thickets of ferns, admire the blue bells. Step 2
The Alibek River Gorge is one of the most picturesque places in Dombay. Passing through the forest area, the road of the route ends in a small clearing. There is a climbers' cemetery here. People who have devoted their lives to conquering the peaks have always stayed with them. A little further, pine forest is replaced by birch and aspen. And very soon the road will lead to the Alibek alpine camp. The Alibek glacier is quite popular with tourists. If you want to get into the kingdom of snows in a sultry summer, be sure to visit it while relaxing in Dombai. True, this route is somewhat tiring for an unprepared tourist, but within the power. This glacier, the largest in area, is the most accessible to tourists.
Step 3
The road to the Alibek waterfall begins at the glacier. The height of the waterfall is about 25 meters. The roar of the falling water and the shine of water splashes lead even experienced tourists into indescribable delight.

For unprepared tourists, the route to the Chuchkhur Falls is suitable. The beginning of the waterfall is given by the Small Dombai glacier. You can get to it directly from the village of Dombay. Going through the Russian glade, subalpine meadows with two-meter grasses, you will get directly to the waterfall. On the approach to it, you need to be very careful. Sheer cliffs will prevent you from getting close enough to it.
