Step 1
A foreign passport, in which there is at least one page for pasting a visa. If you have old passports with UK, Canadian, US or Schengen visas, you should attach them too.
Step 2
Confirmation that you have completed the DS-160 form. The application form is filled out in English on the website of the US Department of Immigration. All questions are given 20 minutes. Proof of employment. Usually this is a certificate from work, which indicates the salary, position, work experience and dates of leave. If you are an entrepreneur, then you need to provide a copy of the certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur and of tax registration. Students must make a certificate from the place of study. If you have diplomas or certificates, then you can attach them too. Non-working people, minors and retirees who cannot pay for their trip themselves must bring a sponsorship letter and all financial documents in the name of the sponsor. You will also need paper confirming the relationship.
Step 6
The documents confirming the financial viability and intentions to return to their homeland are copies of tax declarations, certificates of share in assets or the presence of their own enterprises, documents for the ownership of real estate or a car, marriage and birth certificates of children.
Step 7
Confirmation of travel purposes. This can be an invitation from a private person, an agreement that you bought a tour, a trip itinerary, printouts of hotel reservations, medical documents, if the purpose of the trip is medical treatment.
