Step 3

Printed and completed application form. You need to print the questionnaire from both sides. You can write either in Russian or in German, it is allowed both to enter information by hand and fill it out on a computer. The application form can be downloaded on the Internet or obtained from the German consulate or visa center. The fourth page of the questionnaire contains the law on residence in Germany, it must be signed.

Step 4

Attach 2 identical photographs, color, size 35x45 mm to the application form. Glue one card to the application form, and attach the second to the documents, not forgetting to sign it: on the back, indicate your passport number.

Tourists should attach printouts of hotel reservations for the entire stay, and for those traveling on a private visit - an invitation from a resident of Germany, written in German. Requirements for invitations differ slightly in different consulates of the country, therefore, additionally clarify this point exactly where you are going to apply. Also attach a copy of the passport or ID card of the person who is inviting you.

If you do not pay for your trip yourself, then attach a sponsorship letter from the person who assumes all the costs, in this case you will also need a certificate from his work and an extract from his bank account.

Step 8

If you own a car, real estate or any securities, then attach certificates confirming this. For those who are married or have children, you need to show evidence of this. All this is needed to prove that you have good reasons not to stay in Germany, but to return to your homeland.
