The station "Nizhniy Tagil" belongs to the Sverdlovsk railway. From the north, the city can be reached from Kushva, Kachkanar, Perm. From the south - from Yekaterinburg. The city is connected by direct rail links with Moscow, Ob, Kharkov, Adler and Novorossiysk. A high-speed express train leaves Yekaterinburg for the city twice a day.

There is no civil airport in the city itself. However, this does not mean that you can get here from remote regions only by train. From the nearest Yekaterinburg airport, Koltsovo, you can get to Nizhny Tagil in 2.5-3 hours. From there you can go to the railway station or the bus station of Yekaterinburg. It is also possible to order a taxi to Nizhny Tagil. Accordingly, you can fly to Koltsovo from many parts of our planet. Yekaterinburg Airport is the largest in the country outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
