Step 1
Check out the official Russian Railways website if you plan to travel by train. Create your account. To do this, click on the "Register" icon, which is located in the upper right corner of the page. Fill out the form that appears on the screen. A letter from Russian Railways will be sent to the email address specified when filling out the information. Confirm your registration on the site by following the link provided in the letter.
Step 2
Select the "Passengers" section. After that, an icon with a choice of a route will appear in front of you. Ignoring it, click on the "Buy a ticket" section.
Step 3
Go to your personal account. To do this, enter the login and password specified during registration. In your personal account, you can view all your orders, issue and pay for tickets and clarify information on the following trains.

Fill in the blank fields in the ticket purchase form. Select the starting point and destination, as well as the date and time of your trip. Click on the "Buy a ticket" icon.
Step 5
Choose the train that suits you from the list presented on the page that opens. Please note that next to the train number there should be letters "ER", meaning the possibility of issuing an electronic ticket.
Step 6
Select the carriage number and indicate your preferred seats. Next, enter your passport details. Be extremely careful and check several times if any error has crept into the entered information. Otherwise, the guide will have the right to refuse you a trip.
Step 7
Pay for the order. This can be done in various ways: by credit card, cash at the terminal, cash at the checkout, etc. After the payment is approved, you will be prompted to register electronically. Check the box and click on the "Complete electronic registration" icon.
Step 8
Make sure that the status of your order says "Electronic registration has been issued". If such an inscription takes place, you can safely go to the station with the document, the data of which you entered when issuing the ticket. It is this document that will confirm your right to travel.
