Traveling around the country or the world is becoming more and more familiar to people of all social groups, airlines are clearly focused on democratizing ticket prices. The flight is a lot of trouble, one of which is the question of what you can take with you on board the plane.
Each airline has its own set of rules that apply to both passenger and carry-on baggage. Despite this, there are a number of regulations that can be safely applied to all air carriers.
You can take on board only one bag for economy class passengers, two for business class. The dimensions of this bag (suitcase, backpack, briefcase) are strictly regulated. Each company has its own requirements, but all of them, one way or another, are in the same range - the sum of three dimensions of hand luggage should not exceed one hundred and fifteen centimeters. This means that your bag must be 55x40x20. Depending on the carrier, two to ten centimeters can be added or subtracted from measurements. Weight should not exceed ten kilograms (the smaller the plane, the less this figure).
In addition to one piece of baggage in the aircraft cabin, occupied by the main carry-on baggage, you have the right to occupy a space under the seat in front of you. In other words, you are allowed to take something else to your bag. This includes those things that are not weighed or labeled. This can be: a handbag, a gentleman's briefcase, an umbrella, outerwear, a laptop, a camera, a video camera, the press or books for reading in flight, a mobile phone, a crutch, a stretcher, a wheelchair for passengers with reduced mobility, a cradle when transporting a child. In addition, packages with purchases from Duty Free stores are also not prohibited from transportation on board, but only if they are packed and sealed by the store's seller. Opened packages are removed.
There is a restriction on the carriage of any kind of liquid. In your carry-on baggage, you can carry liquids, including gels, aerosols, foams, oils, lotions, perfumes, in containers not exceeding one hundred milliliters. If the volume is greater, liquids are withdrawn.
Fluid restrictions do not apply to passengers with children. They have the right to take child feeds during the flight, in excess of one hundred milliliters. If you need a medicine that is packed in a larger container, you just need to present a document proving the need for it in flight, and you can easily carry it on board.
When purchasing a ticket, read the flight instructions on the airline's website. So you save yourself from unnecessary hassle and unforeseen circumstances when checking in for a flight.
