Stockholm is an amazing city. It is built on 14 islands, which, in turn, are located in the Baltic Sea. All the islands are connected to each other by many bridges and bridges. Stockholm is surrounded by forests, mountains and lakes, beyond which the sea stretches. The scenic beauty of the north is not all that awaits visitors to the Swedish capital. Numerous cultural and historical attractions are distinguished by their originality and flavor.

To get to know Stockholm better, it is useful to just go for a walk. The old picturesque streets, beautiful bridges and many parks will allow you to have a very good and pleasant time. You should definitely take a boat trip, take a look at the city from the water. It is an unforgettable sight, especially at night.
The capital of Sweden has just a huge number of museums. One of the most interesting is the island of Djurgården, where a beautiful 17th century ship is exhibited, which for some unknown reason sank immediately after its construction. Later, the ship was raised, and the items that were preserved on board are displayed in the museum today.
Another museum, Junibacken, is dedicated to the characters from Astrid Lindgren's fairy tales, so beloved by many Russians. There are galleries containing the best works of Scandinavian and world painting, old and modern.
You can get around Stockholm by public transport. The city has metro, buses and trams. They run frequently and are not late, so travel to different areas is not a problem.
A separate entertainment, for which many people go to Stockholm, is shopping. Prices for many branded products are much lower than in Russian cities, and during sales you can buy excellent items for nothing. The most interesting area from this point of view is the City, where, in general, shopping centers and large stores are located.
