Citizens of the Russian Federation need a visa to visit the United Arab Emirates. It can be issued through tour operators or independently at the UAE Visa Application Center in Moscow.
Instructions
Step 1
Visa processing through a tour operator The tour operator must provide the following documents.
1. A scanned color copy of the passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return from the intended trip.
2. Scanned color photo. Photo size should be 4, 3 X 5, 5cm, file size - no more than 40KB, type - JPG.
3. Application form completed in English. If you are traveling with children, you must attach a photocopy of your birth certificate.
Step 2
Married women under the age of thirty who travel without a spouse or have more than one last name with him must show a copy of the marriage certificate. Special rules apply for unmarried women under thirty.
If a hotel has been booked with a category less than 5 *, the UAE Immigration Service requires a deposit of USD 1,500. This amount will be charged as a fine if the tourist violates the visa regime and does not leave the country within the specified time frame. The deposit is paid by the tour operator.
Step 3
Obtaining a visa through the UAE Visa CenterIf the purpose of your trip is tourism, visiting relatives or studying, and you decide to apply for a visa yourself, you need to contact the Visa Application Center. In this case, you will have to provide documents confirming the traveler's status or financial status.
Step 4
Anyone who has visited one of the following countries in the past five years can confirm the status of a traveler: the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan or the Schengen countries. The documents must be accompanied by photocopies of the pages of the passport with visas of one or more of the above countries. You will also need the original passport, which will be returned to the owner after the photocopies have been verified.
Step 5
If you have not been to any of these countries in the past five years, you will need to prove your financial status. To do this, you will need a certificate from the bank stating that for the last year your income was at least 400,000 rubles. Or a certificate from the place of work in the form of 2-NDFL, where it will be stated that your salary is at least 34,000 rubles per month.
Step 6
To apply for a visa at the Visa Application Center, you will need the following documents: - a passport, which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of the end of the trip;
- original and photocopies of the pages of the used passport;
- original internal passport;
- photocopies of all pages of the internal passport;
- 1 color photograph, size 4, 3 X 3, 5 cm;
- a questionnaire completed in English;
- documents confirming the status of the traveler or financial status;
- confirmation of hotel reservation In case of a private visit to relatives - an invitation from a UAE citizen or a foreigner with a residence permit, a copy of his passport and copies of documents confirming the relationship. If you cannot confirm any of the statuses, your documents will not be accepted at the Visa Application Center!
Step 7
Visa for children
The Visa Center issues visas for children, provided that they travel with their parents. A separate questionnaire is filled in for the child. If he is traveling with one of the parents, a copy of the notarized permission from the other parent, translated into English, and a copy of the parent's internal passport page with his details are required.
