Step 1
Choose the most interesting country, region and specific resort where you would like to relax. Study the situation in the chosen direction: what are the prices, what is offered for this money, what can be seen in the vicinity, how tourists respond about the area.
Step 2
Determine the set of requirements: you need a small house or villa for a huge company, what is necessary from household appliances, whether it is desirable to have a bath or a sauna, how far away from civilization is acceptable and whether public transport is important. What are your infrastructure requirements, what is the permissible distance to the lifts, if you go skiing or snowboarding in winter, etc. Compare the requirements with the prices. If necessary, choose a cheaper resort, where you can get a larger range of services for a lower price, but you will have to sacrifice something else.
Step 3
Get in touch with the owners of the options you like or intermediaries: check the availability of seats, prices for the period of interest, the availability of alternatives, if the option you have chosen is busy. For communication, use the online booking form, if available, or alternative communication options: phone, e-mail, instant messaging programs.
Step 4
Make a partial or full prepayment if you have agreed on everything with the owners or received instant confirmation of availability and the current price online. For instant online booking, a bank card is required. In other cases, discuss the available options for transferring money with the owner of the object or his representatives and choose the most convenient one.
Step 5
Wait for your booking confirmation. Most often, it goes to your email address. Record the identifier of your reservation, for example, a number, if necessary, or print out the sent voucher. This document may be required on site when checking into your booked home.
Step 6
If necessary, contact the property owner or intermediary and ask him to provide you with a booking confirmation that meets the requirements of the consulate of the country where you will be applying for the visa. Ask the consulate beforehand. Most often, a fax is enough, but the original document may also be required, which in this case will have to be sent to you by mail or sent through a courier delivery service (payment, as a rule, at your expense).
