One of the most visited places in France is the city of Blois, in the vicinity of which there are the world famous castles of the Loire. Once upon a time the aristocracy of the country lived in them. Today, most of these buildings are open to the public, and some of the castles contain comfortable hotels.

The second most visited attraction in the country is the small rocky island of Mont San Michel. Several centuries ago, it was turned into a fortress. Currently, the island is home to several dozen residents who protect the unique historical monuments located here, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Quickly enough from Paris you can get to the Cote d'Azur, along which small cozy and pretentious towns are scattered: Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Saint Tropez, Monte Carlo and Antibes. Life in them rages day and night, exhibitions and international festivals are continuously held, art galleries open and films are shot. Due to the small distance between cities in one day, you can visit several events and unique objects at once located in different parts of the coast.
Step 4
The picturesque Champagne region, located in the north-west of the country, primarily attracts the attention of tourists with its numerous wine-making houses and cellars. Visiting them, you can taste a real sparkling drink and purchase it at a bargain price. Here, in Champagne, against the background of unique natural landscapes, there is Lake Der Chantecock - the largest artificial lake in all of Europe.
Step 5
In just a couple of hours you can get from Paris to Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France. Its splendor lies in the fusion of French and German cultures. It harmoniously combines narrow streets and medieval buildings, with gabled roofs, in which restaurants with both French and German cuisines are located.
