Chertanovo is one of the districts of Moscow. It has been part of the capital since 1960. Severnoye Chertanovo began to be built a little later - in the late 1970s, this part of the district in 1980 was the Olympic village.
By metro, then by bus, trolleybus or tram
There are many paths leading to Chertanovo. It is easy to get here from the Moscow region. Everyone can get from the center of the capital to this area by the most convenient route. This part of the former Soviet district has a large territory, depending on which address you go to come, you can get off at one of the six metro stations. That is how many of them were built and opened by mid-2014.
There are three municipalities in Chertanovo: North, Central, South. If you want to go to Severnoe Chertanovo, get off at the Chertanovskaya or Yuzhnaya station. You will find yourself in the Central Municipal Formation from Yuzhniy and Prazhskaya, in Yuzhny you will find yourself leaving from Lesoparkovaya, Anino, Akademika Yangel Street.
If the final point of departure is far from the metro, take tram # 1, # 16, trolleybus # 40 or buses, so you will quickly get where you want to go. One of three dozen buses will definitely take you to the place in the area where you want to go.
By train
Those who prefer not to use underground transport can get to Chertanovo from the center or the region by train. If you are coming from the center, the starting point of your short journey will be Paveletsky railway station. Electric trains often run from here and stop at the Chertanovo platform. It is important not to get confused with this name. The metro station has almost the same name, but it is not located where the Chertanovo platform of the railway is.
Trains stop here quite often, it is important not to get on weekdays during the day break, otherwise you will have to wait 2 hours. Therefore, in the morning you better come to Paveletsky railway station before 11, and in the afternoon - after 13 hours. Travel time will take only 16-18 minutes, but pay attention that the electric train stops at the desired station.
Not only the Paveletskoye, but also the Kursk direction will bring those wishing to come to Chertanovo. To do this, you first need to get to the Kursk railway station, buy a ticket, take the train that stops at the Pokrovskaya platform. If you find yourself at the station after 12-35, you will have to wait for the electric train until 14 hours. Travel time is 30-42 minutes.
By car
Happy owners of their own vehicle will come to the south of Moscow along the Warsaw highway. The newly built “interchange” will help reduce congestion, so you can get there quickly.
To get to Chertanovo by car from the region, you first need to go to the Moscow Ring Road, and then turn off it for 33 km to the Anino metro station.
