Step 1

To obtain a visa, you need to provide the documents requested at the Embassy of the French Republic. You need an original of a valid passport and a photocopy of all its pages. If you work, you must provide a certificate from your place of work indicating the amount of salary for the last six months, certified by the seal of the organization.

Non-working citizens provide a sponsorship letter from the person who finances their trip and a statement of his income. If minor children are traveling with you, you must also provide a sponsorship letter. At the embassy, you fill out a standard form and attach the collected documents and photographs for a visa. On average, visa processing takes 10 to 14 working days. If you book a trip through an agency, a representative of the tour operator will submit the documents to the embassy. In other cases, the presence of everyone who travels is required.

At the stage of visa processing, it is necessary to book a hotel and plane tickets. During the high season in spring or summer, it is better to take care of this in advance. Of the carriers, it is better to opt for Aeroflot or Air France - they have daily flights to Paris.

The choice of the hotel depends on your well-being. In Paris, as in any European capital, life is quite expensive. Therefore, a room in a three-star hotel in the 9th arrondissement can cost an average of 120 - 150 euros per day. Breakfast for an additional fee - approx. EUR 10 per person.
