The resort town of Gelendzhik annually meets hundreds of thousands of vacationers who come here from all over the country to spend time without worries, walking along the beautiful embankment, sunbathing under the gentle rays of the southern sun and swimming in the warm Black Sea. You can get to Gelendzhik by any means of transport convenient for you.
Instructions
Step 1
Not so long ago, a new modern airport was built on the western outskirts of Gelendzhik, capable of receiving even international flights. All year round planes fly here from Moscow and St. Petersburg, flights are carried out by such large companies as Aeroflot, UTair and Rossiya. The flight time from Moscow is about 2.5 hours, from the northern capital - just over 3 hours. Fixed-route and regular taxis run to the city center from the airport, as well as a city bus that runs every 15 minutes during the day. By plane, you can also fly to Anapa or Krasnodar, from which you can get to Gelendzhik by intercity buses in 2, 5 and 4, 5 hours, respectively.
Step 2
The geographical location of Gelendzhik and the surrounding mountains do not allow the construction of a railway here, although such a project is already being considered. But for now, the nearest railway junctions are located in Anapa and Novorossiysk. Those who come to rest on vouchers to the sanatoriums and boarding houses of Gelendzhik do not need to worry about how to get to them from the railway stations - almost all sanatoriums send their buses to the arrivals of trains. But you can get there on your own - from the bus stations of Anapa and Novorossiysk, intercity buses are constantly sent in the direction of Gelendzhik. Travel time from Novorossiysk - 1 hour, from Anapa - 2.5 hours.
Step 3
Recently, many private hotels and boarding houses have been built in Gelendzhik, on the territory of which parking places for cars are equipped, therefore, if you have booked a place in such a hotel, you can come to the city by your own car. It is convenient to get from the capital along the federal highway M4, which connects Moscow and Sochi, and those who set off from St. Petersburg travel along this highway. Having reached Krasnodar, you can shorten the path by almost 50 km if you turn onto the Krasnodar - Goryachiy Klyuch - Dzhubga highway. Before reaching Dzhubga, there is a turn to Gelendzhik, into which in this case you will enter not from the side of Novorossiysk, but from the side of Tuapse.
