The city of Omsk is the administrative center of the Omsk region and ranks second in terms of population in Siberia and eighth in the whole of Russia. During the years of the revolution and the civil war, Omsk was one of the centers of the White movement; many attractions have been preserved in it, for example, the Assumption Cathedral, the Nikolsky Cossack Cathedral, the Exaltation of the Cross Cathedral and the Omsk fortress.
Instructions
Step 1
The distance between Moscow and Omsk is great - about 2500 kilometers. Therefore, the most optimal transport is an airplane. There are a great many flights - about 20 every day. Flights "Moscow - Omsk" of "UTair" and "Transaero" airlines fly from Vnukovo airport. The flight time is 3 hours 25 minutes.
IrAero and S7 airliners take off from Domodedovo airport on the Moscow - Omsk route. They fly in less time - 3 hours 15 minutes. But from Sheremetyevo you can take flights "Moscow - Omsk" of several airlines at once: "El Al", "Air France", "Russia" and "Aeroflot". Travel time is from 3 hours 10 minutes to 3 hours 25 minutes.
Step 2
The train will not be so fast, but very comfortable. Several long-distance trains run from the Yaroslavsky railway station at once, which can take you to the Omsk station. First of all, this is "Moscow - Beijing". On it you can get to Omsk in 1 day and 15 hours. You can also take the Moscow - Vladivostok train, which takes 1 day and 23 hours to get to the Omsk station, and the Moscow - Blagoveshchensk train will take the same amount of time.
There are other options as well. From the Belorussky railway station to the Omsk station, you can take the Brest - Novosibirsk train - in this case, the journey will take 1 day and 21 hours. And from the Kazansky railway station there is an opportunity to go to Omsk by train "Moscow - Ulan-Ude". It goes a little faster than the others - the road will take 1 day and 16 hours.
Step 3
There is one more option - the most extreme, although many people use it. This is a trip along the route "Moscow - Omsk" by car. First you need to go to the M7 Volga highway and move towards Vladimir, and then through Vyazniki and Gorokhovets to get to Nizhny Novgorod. From Nizhniy Novgorod, take the M7 “Volga” highway to Cheboksary, then get to Kazan and head for Naberezhnye Chelny. After that, Ufa will be a large settlement, from which you have to go along the M5 Ural highway in the direction of Chelyabinsk. From Chelyabinsk take to the left to Kostanay, and then drive to Petropavlovsk. And from there to Omsk along the M5 Ural highway, no more than 200 kilometers will remain. The journey will take at least three days. And it is better to go with three nights, because the road is difficult.
