Prague provides tourists with a huge selection of hotels, villas and apartments for every taste and budget. When booking a hotel, there are a number of factors to consider so that your travel experience is not spoiled by the living conditions.

Do not try to focus on the star status of the hotel. The fact is that many hotels were built quite a long time ago and, despite the 4 stars above the entrance, clearly do not reach this level due to "soviet comfort", outdated technology and equipment. On the other hand, brand new or recently renovated treshki can be very cozy and even intimate, especially those located in the central part of the city.

Find out in which area of the city the hotel is located. Prague is divided into districts, which have a name and a serial number, for example "Praha 8". Of course, the new districts have a higher serial number. Use the city map to see how far the hotel is from the points of interest.

Study the reviews of the guests of the hotel you are interested in. Pay particular attention to those that were written recently, since reviews three years ago may not correspond to reality - the hotel may change the owner, it has been renovated. Try to abstract yourself from too laudatory reviews and outright negativity. Be sure to look at the photos and read the description of additional services and amenities.
Step 4
Estimate how much transport costs will cost you. Keep in mind that the cost of travel in Prague is quite high and depends on what kind of travel document you buy - for one trip, for a day or a week. If you live in an inexpensive, simple treshka 10 minutes drive from the Opatov metro station, then you will not be able to do without ground transport and the subway. It takes you 40 minutes to drive to the center, such as the Muzeum Metro Station. Therefore, if the difference in the price for a room is 10 euros per day, it may not be worth spending time and money on travel, but settling closer to the center.

Give preference to hotels located on the outskirts of the city if you will travel mainly by car - personal or rented. There are few parking spaces in the center, in many places it is impossible to stop at all, but hotels on the outskirts have their own parking lots.

Pay attention to hostels in Prague, many of them are located near the center. Living conditions in them are acceptable for budget-minded tourists who prefer to spend all their time in the city and only spend the night and take a shower at their place of residence.
Step 7
Keep in mind that the overwhelming number of hotels include breakfast only in the room rate, the rest of the time the restaurant is open for everyone on a 100% payment basis. The standard breakfast includes fried or boiled eggs, sausages or ham, cheese, yoghurt, bread, jam, butter, muesli, fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee and juices.
