If you are planning to visit the Czech Republic, you will need a valid Schengen visa. Citizens of the Russian Federation can arrange it on their own by preparing the necessary documents. You can apply for a visa no earlier than 3 months before the date of the intended trip.

- - a passport with at least two free pages, and the validity of which exceeds the validity of the visa by at least 90 days;
- - photocopies of the spread of the internal passport and the page with the registration;

- - financial documents. This can be a certificate from the place of work, a certificate of bank accounts, form 2 personal income tax, form 3 personal income tax or traveler's checks;
- - documents on financial security, at the rate of 50 euros per day per person (children under 18 years old need to have half of the specified amount);

Instructions
Step 1
After collecting the necessary package of documents, you will need to take it to the Consular Section of the Czech Embassy in Moscow or to one of the Czech Visa Application Centers. Visa centers are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. If you are applying at the Consular Section of the Czech Embassy, you need to pre-register by phone: (495) 504 36 54 (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00). At the Czech Visa Application Center, documents are accepted on a first come, first served basis (Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Step 2
First, you must fill out the visa application form correctly. It can be filled in on a computer using the "arial" font. The font size should be 10 and the color should be blue. Also, questionnaires filled in by hand in Latin capital letters and a blue pen are accepted. You need to stick a photo on the profile.
Step 3
Students need to attach a copy of their student ID or original certificate from their place of study. Schoolchildren do not need a certificate from school.
Step 4
Pensioners must provide a copy of their pension certificate. Non-working citizens need to attach a sponsorship letter and a certificate from the sponsor's place of work.
Step 5
A separate questionnaire is filled out for children and a photograph is pasted on it. It is necessary to attach the original and a photocopy of the birth certificate. If the child is traveling with one of the parents, you must provide the original and a photocopy of the notarized consent from the other parent. If the child travels with an accompanying person, consent (original, copy) for the child's departure from both parents is required, indicating the details of the accompanying person.
Step 6
If you are traveling by invitation, you must attach the original invitation to the main package of documents. The invitation must be certified by the Police for Foreigners of the Czech Republic, no earlier than 6 months before the application for a visa is submitted. If a third party pays for your trip, you must present a sponsorship letter from the person who financed your trip and copies of the spreads of his internal and foreign passports.
