By rail to Surgut
The city's railway station can be reached by train from the east and south-west direction. From the east and northeast, you can come to the oil-producing capital from other oil-bearing regions - Noyabrsk, Tarko-Sale, Nizhnevartovsk. Trains from Tobolsk and Tyumen depart from the south-western direction to Surgut. The city is located on the Trans-Siberian Railway, so with one change you can get to it from almost any region of the country.

The city has its own bus station, so you can get here not only by rail. Surgut has both suburban and intercity bus service with many settlements. You can come to the city directly from Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhnevartovsk, Kurgan, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Kogalym and many other settlements.

By air to the oil-producing capital
Surgut has the largest airport in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The airport of the same name has an international status. The annual passenger turnover is 1.15 million, which is undoubtedly a high figure for a city that is not the center of the region. You can get to Surgut by plane from Bishkek, Chisinau, Dushanbe, Moscow, Irkutsk, Volgograd, Baku, Tyumen and many other cities. By own car to Surgut
The federal highway P404 passes through the city, which connects the Tyumen region with the north. You can get to Surgut along this road from Tyumen, Tobolsk, Nizhnevartovsk and Nefteyugansk. The Northern Route can be used to get to the city from Perm, Serov, Ivdel, Khanty-Mansiysk and Tomsk. The Siberian Corridor also connects Surgut with Novy Urengoy, Nadym, Salekhard.
