The Church of Mother Matrona is located at: Moscow, st. Taganskaya, 58. Nearby there are several metro stations: "Marksistkaya", "Proletarskaya" and "Ploshchad Ilyicha". Closest of all is the monastery to the "Marxist".
Step 2
If you decide to go to the church of Matushka Matrona through the Marksistkaya metro station, find the exit from the metro to Taganskaya Street and go up the escalator. There will be a bus stop to the left of the metro exit. On any transport (bus, trolleybus, minibus), take two stops. Exit on the second. It is located directly opposite the entrance to the monastery. You can walk from the metro and on foot, follow straight along Taganskaya Street until its intersection with Bolshaya Andronievskaya Street. The journey takes seven to ten minutes. The monastery and the temple of Matushka Matrona will be on the left.
Step 3
To get to the Intercession Monastery through the Proletarskaya metro station, you need to go out to Abelmanovskaya Street and walk straight along it, about ten to fifteen minutes. Tram tracks will run in parallel. You can also take a tram to the Abelmanovskaya Zastava stop. To get to the Temple of Matrona, cross the road.

From the Ploshchad Ilyicha metro station to the Matrona Moskovskaya monastery, take the tram that follows to the Abelmanovskaya Zastava. To get to the stop, get off the last subway car, go upstairs and turn left. Then left again, along the underground passage. Go out into the street, there will be a traffic light in front of you. Go to the other side, you will see a tram stop. Sit in any one, he will take you to the stop "Abelmanovskaya Zastava". It is the second from the Ploschad Ilyicha metro station.
