On a day off, you can go to visit Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky. In 310 kilometers from Moscow - in the Yaroslavl region - the city of Tutaev is located, which local residents call Romanov. This is a shelter for artists and Old Believers, a city of bell-shaped overflows. Tourists can enjoy the beauty of one of the twelve cities that make up the Golden Ring of Russia. Tutaev is known for the Intercession Church, in which the lamp has never been extinguished. In the church there is a miraculous icon "Adding Mind". People suffering from mental disorders often come here, cases of miraculous healing are known. The bell factory of Nikolai Shuvalov may be of particular interest. Bells are made here according to the recipes of grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Participants of the excursion will be told why silver is never added to the bells, why they are buried in the ground, at what stage of production horse manure and leavened wort are used, and how the bell ringers saved their hearing.

If you drive about 230 kilometers along the Gorky highway, you can find yourself in the city of Gus-Khrustalny. A small town spreads out in the middle of the impassable Meshchera forests near the Gus river. Here in 1756 the merchant Akim Maltsov founded a crystal factory, which functions to this day. For several centuries, the Gus-Khrustalny plant was considered the first in Russia in terms of the quantity and quality of tableware produced. Now Gus-Khrustalny can be safely equated with Italian Murano and French Baccarat. Tourists can visit the stunning museum of art glass, which is organically integrated into the interior of St. George's Cathedral. And the cathedral itself is unique. It is an architectural and painting monument of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The exposition of the museum consists of 13,500 exhibits. Among them are both unique, made in a single copy, samples, and sets of products of the plant, mass produced in the period from the second half of the 18th century to the present day.
