According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, free vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment can be provided only to non-working pensioners, i.e. women over 55 and men over 60. A prerequisite for sending a pensioner to a sanatorium on a voucher is that he has medical indications. In addition, travel to the place of treatment and back must also be paid for by the state.

Step 1
However, you should take into account that this benefit applies only to those pensioners who are not eligible for social support measures provided for by federal legislation, and the right to receive a voucher for sanatorium treatment on other grounds (former military, police officers, employees of the FSB, FSKN, FSIN, executive power and some others).
Step 2
A voucher to a sanatorium must be provided to you in order of priority and you have the right to receive it no more than once every 2 years. If there is a need for an extraordinary stay in a sanatorium, you need to provide an additional medical report signed by the medical commission of the medical and preventive institution. The conclusion should indicate that the treatment should be carried out to you within a strictly defined period.
Step 3
As a matter of priority, you may be given a free trip to a sanatorium if you are registered as a rehabilitated person or a victim of political repression. But the number of vouchers remains the same - no more than one within two years.
Step 4
To obtain a voucher, contact the social support department at the place of registration. The basis for this will be your application, to which attach a copy of your passport or other identity document. The same documents are required to certify the fact of your permanent residence in this territory.
Step 5
In addition, in the package of documents enclose a medical certificate of form 070 / u-04 "Certificate for obtaining a voucher", approved by order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia dated November 22, 2004 No. 256; a copy of the work book - to confirm that you are really a non-working pensioner. You will also need a copy of your pension certificate, which will include a note stating that you receive your pension benefits through your local pension fund. After that, you will be put in a queue to receive a voucher and will only have to wait.
