Perhaps every skier and snowboarder in Russia dreams of conquering the snowy peaks of the world's leading ski resorts. However, is it worth raving about the distant shores when there are excellent slopes in the homeland with good service.
Instructions
Step 1
You can ride in the European part of the country without going far from the capital. So, in the Moscow region, athletes are waiting for the slopes of the Borovsky Kurgan in Chulkovo, the CSKA base in Fili, Lata-Track in Krylatskoye, Stepanovo or Severnoye Butovo. Most of these complexes are very well equipped, have playgrounds for beginners, as well as playgrounds so that kids do not interfere with adults to conquer the peaks.
Step 2
In the central part of Russia, you can ski on Puzhalovaya Gora, which was recognized as the best ski resort in this strip, as well as one of the best places for families. The complex is located near the town of Gorokhovets, and therefore the infrastructure is well developed here, although the slope is small - only 450 meters.
Step 3
Not far from Kazan there is a complex "Sviyaga", its tracks stretch for more than a kilometer, and a chair lift rises to the top of the skiers, and for beginners there is a tow bar on a gentle slope. Every day until 9-00 the tracks are prepared by snow groomers, and if there is a lack of snow cover, artificial snowmaking is used.
Step 4
Dombay is the most popular in the Caucasus. Here, the tracks are of medium hardness, quite suitable for both beginners and those who already know how to ride. On average, the length of the ascents is about one and a half kilometers, but there are also very long routes. Unfortunately, the complex is quite old and not reconstructed, so you should not expect high service, get ready for a holiday a la the eighties. But here you can enjoy the delightful nature.
Step 5
Beyond the Urals, Kuzbass and its famous village Sheregesh await you. Skiers and snowboarders from all over Siberia flock here. Stunning pistes and European service, plenty of accommodation options, and an unsportsmanlike holiday. Families travel to Sheregesh, the slopes are different, there are gentle and smooth, and there are also extreme routes. Borderers can drive over the powder - it snows here abnormally regularly and remains untouched in the forest. The only negative is that there are coal mines nearby, so dust particles remain on the snow in windy weather.
Step 6
Novo-Sosedovo is gaining popularity in Novosibirsk. In 2012, this complex became the venue for the snowboarding championship, and therefore the tracks there are prepared in the best possible way. Nearby is "Yurmanka", a ski resort at the mountain of the same name. "Yurmanka" was also built in Soviet times, but today it is privately owned, and therefore from year to year it is being transformed for the convenience of skiers.
