Poland is one of the countries for which obtaining a visa is not particularly difficult for Russians. Failures are almost never encountered. Since December 2007, Poland has been a member of the Schengen Agreement, so that a Polish visa in the passport opens the way for its holder to all countries of the Schengen area.
Necessary
- - passport, valid for at least 90 days after the end of the proposed trip;
- - visa application form;
- - color photograph;
- - insurance policy;
- - certificate from work;
- - confirmation of funds for the period of stay in the country;
- - 35 euros to pay the consular fee.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are planning an independent tourist trip to Poland, first take care of the proof of residence.
Consulate requirements: you must provide the original or a facsimile copy of the booking confirmation and payment of at least 50% of the cost of the stay. You can find hotels, hostels, apartments and other accommodation options on the Internet. The sites of many of them have a Russian version, and almost all of them have an English version. As a last resort, the Polish language is not so difficult to understand: brothers-Slavs.
Having chosen the accommodation option, contact its administration to resolve payment issues and confirm your reservation.
Step 2
Now fill out the visa application form. This must be done via the Internet following the link on the website of the Consulate of Poland in the Russian Federation in the section of visa information.
Print out the completed application form with a barcode, stick a photo on it.
If there is no photo, take a photo. Requirements for a photo can be found on the consulate website.
After filling out the questionnaire, the system will assign you the date and time of your visit to the consulate with a package of documents. Do not pay attention to the time: they will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 9.00 to 13.00. But the date does matter.
Step 3
Get an insurance policy. Requirements for it are standard for Schengen countries: insurance coverage of at least 30 thousand euros, no deductible, validity throughout the Schengen territory.
You can get a policy at any insurance company. But it is better to give preference to a large and well-known: its policy will definitely not raise unwanted questions and doubts.
Step 4
Polish consular officials attach importance to financial documents. Employees are required to have a certificate of employment indicating the details of the employer, working hours of the applicant for a visa in the company, position, monthly salary and income for six months.
An entrepreneur will need a copy of a certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur or an enterprise, a student - a certificate from a university, a pensioner - a copy of a pension certificate.
In other cases, a banking history of at least six months will be useful: a certificate from the bank about the movement of funds on the account.
Step 5
You must also confirm the availability of funds for the duration of your stay in Poland. For a trip of up to three days it is 300 PLN, for a longer period - 100 PLN for each day of stay. One zloty is equal to approximately 11 rubles.
The best way to confirm is a photocopy of a bank card and a bank statement about the balance on the account linked to it.
Step 6
When all the documents are collected, wait for the appointed day and take them to the consulate. Don't forget also 35 euros in cash to pay the consular fee to the cashier's office.
After submitting the documents, come on the appointed day to the consulate for a passport with a ready visa.
