Spain has long been one of the centers of European tourism. Every year more and more Russians strive to visit this country, and this year the largest influx of tourists is expected, because 2011 has been declared the Year of Spain in Russia. Let's consider in detail how you can get a visa to Spain.

Step 1
Spain is among the countries that have signed the Schengen Agreement. To obtain a visa, you must provide the following documents: A questionnaire completed in English or Spanish by the applicant personally. It needs to be signed.
A valid passport.
Photocopies of all pages of the passport. A photocopy of the personal data page must be provided in duplicate.
Two color photographs 3, 5x4, 5.
Photocopies of all pages of the Russian passport, even blank ones.
The original and a copy of the health insurance policy valid in the territory of the countries of the Schengen Agreement. The insurance coverage must be at least EUR 30,000.
Certificate from the employer on letterhead indicating the position, length of service and salary, certified by the head of the enterprise.
Certificate of financial solvency at the rate of 57 euros per day per person.
Step 2
Those entering the Schengen countries for the first time are advised to provide additional certificates of financial well-being: certificates of registration of property rights to real estate and the like.
Step 3
Copies of tickets and copies of hotel reservations. If the visit is private, then an invitation from a private person in Spain.
Step 4
Keep in mind that all of the above documents must be folded in a certain order: visa application form, hotel reservation, insurance, copies of tickets, certificate from work, documents on financial well-being, photocopies of all pages of the passport, photocopy of all pages of the internal passport, other documents.
Step 5
If this procedure is not followed, the documents will not be accepted.
A tourist visa is usually issued in 4-5 business days. Its validity period is up to 180 days (the maximum period of stay in the country is 90 days).
Step 6
The consular fee for all types of Schengen visas is 35 euros and is paid in rubles directly at the visa center when submitting documents.
