More and more people prefer to travel by booking a hotel and plane ticket on their own, without buying ready-made tours. This has its advantages - so you are completely on your own, in addition, such a booking allows you to save money. You can book hotels through specialized sites or through a travel agency.

Step 1
The first way to book hotels is through a travel agency. You don't have to buy a ready-made group tour or order an individual one. Most agencies allow their clients to book simply hotels and air tickets (usually together). This is beneficial because your order is simply "included" in one of the group ones, and thus the hotel makes a discount for the entire reservation. Consequently, booking a hotel (and a plane too) will not be very expensive.

But this method has a drawback - travel agencies work only with a part of hotels, and not the cheapest ones. They practically do not work with apartments and hostels. Therefore, if booking a three-star hotel is expensive for you, then you can use special sites (for example, hostelworld, venere, booking) and book yourself a less expensive hotel or apartment. By the way, an inexpensive hotel does not mean bad: for example, in Europe, many two-star hotels do not differ from three-star ones.
Step 3
Sites are usually English, but the language there is simple, so everyone can navigate. To book a hotel through Booking, select the country and city of arrival, date, set the desired number of nights and click find hotels. A list of suggestions will appear. Hotels will be briefly described, if you wish, you can expand the description and read reviews of tourists. From the description it will become clear which rooms are available for the numbers you need, how much is one night in the hotel. Once you have selected your hotel, click on book now. After that, you will need to enter your details and data from your credit card in order to make an advance payment (10-20%) or make a reservation for free (depending on the conditions of the hotel). You will receive a letter about successful booking (also write to the hotel's e-mail personally and ask, as you will need it to obtain a visa). This completes the booking procedure. Upon arrival, you will simply state your name and show your booking letter.
