Spain is one of the countries belonging to the Schengen area. If you have a Schengen visa, you can easily travel to all of these countries. Spain is particularly favorably disposed towards tourists from Russia, often issuing them multivisa even at the first visit. You will need the following documents for a Spanish visa.

Step 1
Application form that is completed in Spanish or English. It needs to be signed in the right place. Glue a 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm photo to the application form, cut frames, corners or ovals, made on a light background. Attach another photo of the same to your documents. On the back, write your passport number on it.
Step 2
A passport that will be valid for 90 days after the expiration of the requested visa. For a visa, you will need two free pages. Photocopies of all of its pages must be attached to the passport, and the first page, on which personal data is indicated, must be copied in duplicate.
Step 3
If you have old foreign passports with visas, attach them too, this confirms your good visa history. Make photocopies of all their pages in the same way as with a valid passport.
Step 4
Photocopies of all pages of the Russian passport. Even if the pages are blank, you still need to make copies of them.
Step 5
Health insurance policy (original and copy), which is valid throughout the Schengen countries, the amount of coverage for it must be at least 30 thousand euros.
Step 6
Help from the place of work. It must be done on letterhead, indicating your seniority, salary and position, and it must also be written on it that you are given a vacation for the duration of the trip, and the job remains with you. Individual entrepreneurs must provide a certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur and registration with the tax authorities. In addition, the individual entrepreneur will need a copy of the TIN and a copy of the latest tax return.
Step 7
Pensioners must bring a pension certificate and a copy, and students - a certificate from the university or school and a copy.
Step 8
Anyone who does not work himself and does not have the funds to pay for his trip must attach a sponsorship letter from a close relative and all financial documents (certificate of employment and account statement) in his name. You will also need a document confirming family ties.
Step 9
Documents confirming that you have enough money for the trip. This should be a bank statement. Funds on it should be approximately at the rate of 57 to 62 euros per person per day, but it is better to count with a margin. In St. Petersburg, employees of the visa center believe that the account must have at least 562 euros for a trip for any period.
Step 10
Round trip tickets to Spain. These can be copies of train or sea tickets, or printouts of reservations from the Internet.
Step 11
Hotel reservation for the entire stay, a fax from the hotel or a printout from the booking site with all the details is suitable. If you are traveling on a private visit, make sure to have an invitation from the host.
