Spain is a country that Russian tourists love very much. A pleasant climate, warm sea and not the highest prices in Europe only fuel this interest. To visit Spain, Russian citizens will need a visa. You may not receive it if you already have a visa from any state from the Schengen Union. For a Spanish visa, you will need some documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Application form for a Spanish Schengen visa. Completed in Spanish or English. Upon completion of the process, it is necessary to sign a questionnaire, the applicant must do this himself. Glue one 35x45 mm photo to the questionnaire (on a light background, in color, without frames, ovals or corners). Attach another photo of the same kind to the documents, signing on the reverse side: indicate there the number of your passport.
Step 2
Passport, which must be valid for at least 3 months after the expiry of your requested visa. The document must have at least two blank pages. Make photocopies of all pages of your passport and attach them too. If you have old passports with visas, then make copies of all their pages, add these passports to the application form. Spain takes into account the stamps of any countries that are on your passport, not just Schengen visas.
Step 3
Internal passport and photocopies of all its pages, including blank ones that do not contain any information.
Step 4
Medical insurance that is valid for the entire duration of your trip. The amount of coverage paid by the company must be at least 30 thousand euros.
Step 5
Documents proving your employment. This can be a certificate from the job on which your position and salary are written. A certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur and tax registration is allowed if you work for yourself. Entrepreneurs must also attach a copy of their TIN and a copy of their tax return.
Step 6
Financial documents. This is usually a bank statement, but travelers checks can be attached. The account should be sufficient to cover the costs of the entire trip. Consumption is usually indicated from 57 to 62 euros per day, but it is better to count with some margin.
Step 7
Those who do not work must show documents confirming the sponsor's solvency (a certificate of employment and an extract from the sponsor's account), as well as a sponsorship letter stating that the person is obliged to cover all the traveler's expenses, and documents of relationship. The sponsor must be a close relative or spouse.
Step 8
Pensioners must attach a copy of the pension certificate and proof of their financial solvency (bank statement, documents confirming the receipt of the pension). Spain also considers travelers checks as financial documents. If your funds are not enough, then you need sponsor's documents.
Step 9
Students and schoolchildren should make a certificate of the place of study. If the visa is issued in the summer, then the certificate may not be shown. Students need to show a copy of their student ID. Non-working - sponsorship documents.
Step 10
Hotel reservations for the entire stay in the country. A printout from the website of the booking system will do, indicating all the hotel data. For those who own or rent housing, documents confirming this fact are needed. Tourists traveling on a private visit must attach an invitation drawn up in a form, which can be found in more detail at a specific visa center or consulate (these parameters sometimes differ).
Step 11
Round-trip tickets. Tickets for any type of transport are suitable. Photocopies or printouts from booking sites can be provided.
